Inductor 1uH

Q: I have bought almost all categories of inductors listed here, but in cases of most of them, none of my O'scope tests say that they have the right value which is listed here. If the color code is right on the inductor, which is Brown, Black, Black, Silver/White than according to Vishay chart, it's a 10uH inductor, not 1uH! Either I am calculating it wrong or, the inductors are listed with wrong values. I have ordered an LC meter, so soon I will be able to double check and verify my tests. By the way, I am interested to know how TechShop guys measure the inductance of these things. It would be a great help for prototype builders if they could come up with the frequency ratings, saturation current and other specs like AL, Core permeability of the inductors. Or even better if you guys could bring cores and inductors with standard values from Digikey or mouser.com which has a standard part number and specs can be found out with that part number. Thanks!
