PIC Mini development board features a PIC16F877A microcontroller with all ICSP pins and I/O pins and a 20MHZ crystal oscillator. The whole setup lets you avoid the hassle of breadboarding the microcontroller with oscillator, capacitors etc. ICSP pinout let you programme the IC whenever, however you wish, even when it is already in use.

Q: Is there a way to tell whether the development board is working properly? I connected the board as indicated in the line-follewer robot tutorial but there is no output voltage in the output pin. :( Maybe I connected the wires wrong.
